The artist was beginning to look offended,
but Haru noticed that she did not deny it, and
perhaps maybe she had been in a slump for
a long time and was actually preparing herself
for a leave. Whatever the reason, Haru hated
to put her on the spot.

❝ What would you like me to do, then, Takano?❞

Haruka had made himself known just now, but
awaited the final decision if he could help her
out, or not. Or, if he had something else in mind
for him.

“I need you to start finishing
                            the toning for the others.
you may be done with work,
                           but don’t leave your team
                                in the dust, alright?”

Though he was impressed by Haruka’s enthusiasm to work, Takano couldn’t just let him sit around while his partners struggled to catch up with work. PROCRASTINATION was a major factor that held each assistant back from producing quality work, but the responsibility was all on them for abandoned their duties, and choosing to hold out until the very end. In a way, he felt sympathy due to their hard work, but he was MERCILESS when it came to the excuses that spurt out of their mouths. He didn’t have time for half-assed workers on his team, but they were all he had for this author; nonetheless, he treated them as if they were to be REPLACED.
