A night out was all Takano needed in order to calm himself from the final week of production. Manuscripts were finally being turned in and the screentones were also being added onto the final products. The desire to drink became a top priority for the editor; however, he was not desperate enough to leave the office early because of it. To his luck, his colleague invited him out for a couple of rounds before officially calling it a night. Little did he know that his night was only getting started. After a few drinks and light chatter in, Takano was rudely interrupted by a disturbance at the far side of the bar. Yelling and glass shattering echoed throughout the venue. Turning his attention towards the noise, the editor caught sight of a stumbling man–visible signs of intoxication dressing his features.
Narrowed eyes watched as the drunken man continued to cause a commotion before the other patrons stationed at the bar. Many tried to avoid him, but had no luck as he sloppily took his anger out on them. With enough irritation built up within him, Takano stood from his seat; his hand resting upon the stranger’s shoulder before pushing him away with enough force. Disdain dressed his features as he spoke out; his voice gruff, his words HARSH,
"If my free time is being disturbed
by the likes of people like you, then
yes, it does have EVERYTHING to
do with me.”
