Haruka was usually the more quiet and “keep to
himself” sort of person in the company. The manga
he helped worked for, he knew the lead artist tend
to slack off. He would have warned her that her dead
line was coming close, but it was rather bothersome. Now that the deadline had been reached, and the lead
editor was here with his anger fraying, he knew the lead
artist would surely break. Haruka never really spoke to
the other guy that much, but now he stood and walked
over to confront the situation.❝ Excuse me, ❞ he said, interrupting the flurry of excuses
she was trying to deliver. ❝ If it helps, maybe I can help out
on the main art? ❞
Despite the loud commotion, Takano was able to pick up a soft voice that came from behind; his own head turning to face one of the interns his mangaka took up before the project. He never meant to pry over who she chose to have on her team, but this person seemed a bit…young for this profession. Whatever age the boy may be, all that mattered to Takano was to get the manuscript done. Hearing the boy’s suggestion, the editor let out a heavy sigh as he turned to the newbie; his eyes examining him properly from head to toe,
“The main art is complete. All that needs
to be done on her half is the inking for
the last two pages of her book. You, on
the other hand, need to be working on
the screen toning of the rest of the pages.
Focus on your work before trying to help
others. Especially when it’s her fault for
not completing it on time. Please, return
to your station.”
